Castles - Dundee & Angus

Broughty Castle Museum
Built in 1496, this castle sits at the mouth of the River Tay.

Dunninald House and Gardens
Dunninald is just south of Montrose, Angus. The garden is superb and both house and garden are open to the public for four weeks every summer.

Glamis Castle
Ancestral home of the Earls of Strathmore for over 600 years. Glamis is a living, breathing monument to Scottish hospitality.

House of Dun
Built in 1730 for David Erskine, the 13th Laird of Dun, includes Victorian gardens overlooking the Montrose Basin.

Mains Castle
A Medieval castle believed to have been built around 1562 by Sir David Graham.
