Perthshire Scotland


If you love adventure and the outdoors then you will thoroughly enjoy a visit to Perthshire, Scotland. There are many activities to choose from including canoeing, climbing, skiing, white water rafting and much more. There are also professional, specialist companies who can tailor make your trip to ensure you make the most our of your experience.

For those who prefer a more relaxing holiday there are plenty of gentle walking trails, where you can wander at your own pace and marvel at the stunning scenery and abundance of wildlife. Birdwatchers must visit Vane Farm, part of the Loch Leven National Nature Reserve where you can visit the viewing hides and get up close to the birds.

For the golfers amongst you, Perthshire offers many courses with an array of different landscapes - where you can enjoy a gentle relaxing game or a very challenging one! Visit Gleneagles to play on three of the finest Championship courses in Scotland - PGA Centenary Course, The famous King's Course and The secluded Queen's Course.

Perthshire also plays host to T in The Park - one of the most important music events on the festival circuit. Definately worth trying to getting tickets for if your visiting in July.
